Book Review: Take 2 by Ruchi Singh

A sweet date with a beautiful Romance!

When life gives you punches: unexpected punches and you start fearing anything everything even when presented a second chance in life. A fresh life even if it stares at you, right at your face you are scared to believe this is it....unless you are ready to take the risk you will never know.
Amidst all the romances, second chances always held a positive vibe to it, a hope everyone would love to read about.

It’s the same with Take 2 ... A sweet romance all about second chances leaves you beaming with that innocent simple love.
Abhi and Priya are sure to take your through the knowing,  finding, hurting and finally embracing love. The element of domestic violence is very sensitively added in the story. .The domestic violence physical or mental and its impact on Priya and later her divorcee status giving her the tag of a loose woman, she has a lot to grasp. Her struggle to get in terms with the reality. Slowly but gradually accepting how the calm and relaxed Abhimanyu is serious about her and his emotions are as pure as it could get.
I and my other two(the one in white with pure white wings and a halo and the one in black and bright red horns with her wicked smile) had a very sweet date with this romance. We would love to pick another one of Ruchi Singh romances. How I missed reading Ruchi Singh’s book until now, I don’t know but here I and my other two eager to pick other books of hers.

How can I not mention the highlight now( the wicked gleam in my eyes), the moment which had me punching in the air.  –
“      She slapped him hard across his cheek and said loud and clear.
“Sue me now.” “
If I knew how to blow an ear-shattering whistle I would have. (Gleam still on with the wicked smile)

Blurb:

Priya’s idyllic world turns upside down when she realizes her husband considers her dead weight after stripping her off her inheritance for his ambitions and lavish lifestyle.

Instantly attracted to Priya, Abhimanyu knows getting involved with a married woman is inviting trouble. But despite common sense, cautions and hesitations, he is drawn to help her.

Happily ever after has become a myth for Priya and trying to keep the relationship platonic is becoming more and more difficult for Abhimanyu.

In the tussle between ethics, fears and desires... will Priya embrace a second chance at happiness?
