Book Review - The Casanova's Wife by Sundari Venkatraman

Well!!! Who brought the Casanova to his knees? ;-)

A casanova model who owns a lean, mean, and trim perfect body. His eyes the shade of almond; deep enough to just drown in them…Phew…(Fanning myself. My other two: the one in black with red horns and the one in white with her white wings and her halo are helping me cool me down as well…)

This specimen of a man named Bharat Maheshwari is everything desireable in a man bottled into one package. This Casanova is a go getter,  in demand model. He is the rake eager to find his next conquest. (I cant’t help from wondering why these Maheshwari men are always the reason for the soaring temperature? Take my word they are too hot to handle.)

What happens when such a person finds himself so stirred by a rendezvous with this naïve woman? She is very innocent and untouched and before he knows she slips right through his fingers?  I don’t want to spoil the fun created by Sundari Venkatraman.  Guys,  looking for a steamy romance ‘PICK UP THE BOOK’ period.

But as I came to finish, I could feel the heaviness engulfing me. (I know it sounds sooooo theatrical and dramatical but with only one more Maheshwari to look forward, my lips are drooping down and a forlorn feeling setting in. My other two’s  are also feeling low. ) If other Maheshwari ‘s brought you here, then devour it as you have only one more to wait for.

Is it possible to get a long lost brother for senior  Maheshwari and his next gen’s story? (My excitement is growing as my imagination goes wild. Please Sundari Venkatraman, can you get them back? I know, I know… she is the creator she decides. But as an ardent lover of her Maheshwari gang I did not have my fill. (Pouting with pleading puppy eyes…pretty please!!!)

Loved this book immensely, but my all-time favourite is Laxman aka Laki. Blame it on the mustache! (A shrug and my wicked grin on, along with my other two's, one of their horns are glowing red and the other’s wings are fluttering. We are still basking in the romance of this Casanova and his wife. )
