Book Review - The Casanova's Wife by Sundari Venkatraman
Well!!! Who brought the Casanova to his knees? ;-)
A Casanova, A model, A man with lean and trim perfect body, with a eyes in the shade of almond and easy to just drown in them….Phew….(I am Fanning myself and my other two; the one in black and with red horns and the one in white with her white wings and her halo were both fanning my face to cool me down a moment or so themselves as well…)
This specimen of a man named Bharat Maheshwari is everything bottled into one package. The Casanova, the go getter, the lean and mean; in demand model, the rake eager to find his next conquest. (Phew…. Why are these Maheshwari’s always the reason for the soaring temperature? Too hot to handle.)
What happens when such a person finds himself so stirred by a rendezvous with this naïve women so innocent, so untouched and who slips right through his fingers? I don’t want to spoil the fun created by Sundari Venkatraman. Guys! Looking for a steamy romance ‘PICK UP THE BOOK’.
But as I came to a finish, I could feel the heaviness engulfing me. (I know sounding sooooo nautanki/dramebaaz…for those who didn’t get the meaning it means theatrical/dramatical but with only one more Maheshwari to look forward, my lips are drooping down and a forlorn feeling setting in. My other two’s are also feeling low. ) If other Maheshwari ‘s brought you here, then devour it as you have only one more to wait for.
Is it possible to get a long lost brother to senior Maheshwari and his next gen’s story? (My excitement growing, imagining it.)Sundari Venkatraman, did you hear that? Can you do that? I know, I know… She is the creator she decides. But as an ardent lover of her Maheshwari gang: I have not had my fill. (Pouting with a pleading puppy eyes…pretty please!!!)
Loved this no doubt about it, but( yes, there is a but) my all-time favourite is Laxman aka Laki. Blame it on the mustache! (A shrug and my wicked grin on along with my other two’s , one of their horns are glowing red and the other’s wings are fluttering.)
Wait for the other twin Shatru starts...
Bharat is the elder of the Maheshwari twins. Being a super model, he travels from Jaipur to Mumbai to Delhi, modelling for high-end brands and playing show stopper during fashion shows. Clothes, jewellery, glares, briefs – you name it and Bharat Maheshwari models for it.

Sparks sizzle and they get together instantaneously. But things fall apart when Dia realises that Bharat is quite the Casanova and might not make for a life partner. She disappears from his life...
...to surface again two years later, at no place other than his family’s drawing room in Jaipur. Will the Casanova turn a new leaf? Or will Dia have to play second, third or fourth fiddle to every gorgeous model who comes into his life?
