Book Review - The Prince's Special Bride by Devika Fernando

I am doing the jig (My eyes are sparkling in excitement and my other two one in black with red horns  which are right now shining like a beacon and the other one in white with angelic wings and a halo shining bright above her head, are joining me in the jig seated on my shoulder.) Now,  ask me why?
Well! This being my second book of Devika Fernando I realized her woman characters are today’s woman who have their heart and head at the right place. Loved them, both Marie in Prince’s Special bride and Olivia in Prince’s Stubborn Wife.  They know exactly what they want from their life and know to expand their sight to a  greater good as well; Strong yet soft women of substance.
What should I say about the Prince ( Ohh…. My I can feel the colour rising… My other one in black: Miss Black is having that wicked glint in her eyes and the one in white: Miss White 's  eyes are sparkling) his silence, the perfectionism ohh isn’t he Mr. Perfectionist. Christian with his silent brooding and controlled nature steals your heart the moment he appears watching silently his sister and the attractive exotic stranger with her.

The Prince and Princess are elegance personified and Maria is no less in making every one see that one doesn't need to be born into Royals to be dignified and strong.  Christian and Maria with a strong sense of righteousness and wanting the well-being of  Taragonia will leave you warm towards the couple: A great romance to cuddle with this winter. What is a Royal romance without few stolen kisses and a scandal? The author provides it all.
A great royal romance to spend couple of hours with!
Blurb:

Marie doesn’t believe in fairytales and needs no handsome prince to rescue her from misery – but everything changes when she falls in love with Crown Prince Christian of Taragonia. When his sister invites Marie to the palace, their lives collide and leave them both fighting their forbidden attraction.

Prince Christian has no place in his life for love or for a woman who doesn’t fit into the royal scheme of things. But vivacious Marie steals his heart and puts all he has lived for at stake. When the media gets wind of their affair, he has to make a difficult decision.
Will the unlikely couple have a chance at a happy ending?

The Prince’s Special Bride is the first book in the Royal Romance Series and can be read as a stand-alone with a happy ending. Be sure not to miss the other novels because the story continues with many more princes finding their happily ever after.
